In 1996 nam Fred de varkensfokkerij in Oudewater over van zijn vader. De
toekomst als boer lag echter niet in Nederland. Vandaar dat Fred
de boerderij van zijn neef Jim Boere kocht in Kerwood, Ontario, Canada.
Op 3 augustus 2000 verhuisde hij naar Canada.

In 1996 Fred took over the pigsfarm of his father in Ouderwater, the Netherlands.
The future of farming turned out to be not in the Netherlands. Therefore Fred bougth the
farm of his cousin Jim Boere in Kerwood, Ontario, Canada. On august 3th, 2000 Fred
moved to Canada.
